If there is no Santa...

Children at different ages learn the truth about Santa. The question I have for you parents is how would you answer the following question to your child who asked, "If there is no Santa, how can you know God exists and isn't something that is just made up?

What do you think?

I would answer that I know that God lives in me in the person of the HS (make the language age appropriate) so I KNOW that God is real as Gos is IN me. Jesus is my best friend and I'm his adopted brother as well his being my King and Saviour.

I don't understand why parents would mislead their children in the first place. Why lie and make up someone who doesn't exist? Especially when it's in the context of religion. It doesn't fit.

Kenny, as we are told God is spirit
who gives all good gifts. Santa is spirit as well, the spirit of Christmas. We have never seen either in person, we have seen only the image of both, we have been told about both. They both live in us through faith that they do live, how do we know they are not one and the same. They both work through mankind.I am seventy years old, and I still believe in Santa, and God. God is the spirit who gives, santa is the spirit who gives on Jesus' birthday. Who is to say neither existes. Not Me. Merry Christmas brother.

NO SANTA?
That's unthinkable! :-)

Here in Australia we track Santa via GPS from the North-pole throughout all the countries till he reaches Australia. Every TV station regularly updates Santa's position on the news till he finally enters Australia, and they are very serious about that.

The bad news is, that we have a whole nation full of big liars who teach their little children to become just like them 'BIG---LIARS'.

On the positive side; everyone knows that there is a God, especially the little children because He has made it evident to them that He is by the things He has made so that they are without excuse.

Have a Merry Christmas Kinney and a Happy New Year for you and all your commentators.
Paul

Laymond;
I hardly could believe my eyes as I read your comment.
It troubles me immensely that nobody so far had the guts to tell you the truth.
Suppose they all want to be nice guys and not offend you.

Absolutely no born again Christian could or would have said what you have said in your comment.
Anyone, in whom the Spirit of God dwells, would be horrified and would not in the slightest way agree with you.

However, I am thankful to the Lord that you freely express and share publicly your spirituality with us.
Again I'd like to say that I am not against you Laymond, but for you.
I am deeply concerned for your salvation and eternal life.

Jesus said that it is impossible for you to 'SEE', unless you are born again, and also it is impossible for you to 'ENTER' unless you are born again (John 3:3-12).
Here you can see the importance of a new birth. The new birth is NOT a theory or a lovely passage in the Bible, but an important experience in your life, just like your first birth in the flesh so is the second birth of the Spirit.
Without your first birth in the flesh you would not be able to SEE the natural things around you because you would not have been born, likewise when you are borne of the Spirit, you would be able to SEE spiritual things, because you would have entered by a new birth into the spiritual Kingdom of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Laymond; Santa Clause can't give you a new life and neither can your false god Jehovah.
So therefore do not celebrate Christmas or rejoice but rather weep and mourn and call with all your heart upon the only Name of God Jesus Christ our Lord since there is no other Name given in heaven or on earth or under the earth whereby you Laymond must be saved and whosever shall call upon His Name shall be saved.
Lots of love
Paul

Brother Laymond Clause; :-)
I am a man who likes lots of fun and jokes, but with certain things I never joke.
With 'Eternal life' I never joke and I am very serious about that and so should you.

Jesus said "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only few are those who find it".
Because there are only FEW who find it; I would like that you would be one of those 'few' just like myself and then we both will rejoice in our wonderful Lord and savior Jesus Christ our Lord.
Lots of brotherly kindness

SANTA CLAUS is a substitute for the true 'GIFT' giver Jesus Christ.

Santa Clause is a satanic diversion to all those who are perishing so that they would look and believe in Santa Claus and NEVER turn and believe in Jesus Christ for the good gift which is from above 'Eternal life' in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Santa Clause and the Pope of Rome are of the same spirit 'Satan'.
Santa Clause is called 'FATHER Christmas'.
The Pope is called 'Holy FATHER'.
Both usurp the title that only belongs to the Lord our God Jesus Christ and is forbidden in the Scripture to be used by anyone. (Matthew 23:9)

Laymond,
I absolutely love your comment. I have never met anyone who shares that view, but I think it's wonderful.
